The outside of your equipment can be dusted off with a damp cloth, but make sure not to submerge the equipment in water.
It will not harm the machine if it is left on during trips to the bathroom at night, but do not leave the machine on during regular periods of non-use (e.g. during the day).
Your mask should be gently hand washed after each use. Cleaning the mask of facial oils regularly and properly will minimize the risk of skin irritations, avoid excessive leaks from mask movement during sleep, and may also extend the life of the mask. Manufacturers recommend replacement of your mask every six months for maximum performance.
The tubing that connects the mask to the device should be washed thoroughly once a week to eliminate all facial oils and bacteria.
NOTE: Do not use oils, bleach, moisturizing soap, anti-bacterial soap, fragranced soap or alcohol to clean your humidifier or mask.
Empty entirely after each use.
Refill with FRESH DISTILLED water each time.
Clean out the humidifier weekly with pure dish soap and warm water.
If calcium deposits on the water chamber are a problem, or if you wish to disinfect the water chamber, a vinegar solution of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water can be used weekly to soak the chamber. Note: Calcium deposits only occur when using water other than distilled water.
Each device has an air filter to keep the air you breathe clean. These filters should be changed regularly. Refer to the User Guide that came with your device to locate and change your air filter.
Disposable filters should be thrown out completely and replaced with new filters
